...in the heat
It has been AWESOME weather here lately, over 20°C and sunny, and me I have been stuck inside writing my paper on Þorramatur. Handed it in yesterday a little after noon (the deadline was not until midnight) and went out to play in the SUN!!! Started by going to the Zoological museum for the Against Nature? Exhibit about homosexuality in the animal kingdom. I have a post about this that I will post later, but in short, I was disappointed. I was also disappointed in the weather yesterday, cause after days of watching others play in the sun it was supposed to be my turn, but even though it was very warm the sun hid behind clouds. After the exhibit I met up with B and we walked around town, looked at this cute little area in the middle of the city where the houses are all tiny, old wooden houses and it feels like you stepped back in time, AMAZING!! We walked all the way home to be, where I ran in for the mini bbq and B got some food and then we headed for the riverbank where we sat, talked, grilled, drank beer and enjoyed the sun, that finally decided to make an appearance :) It was so great and I can totally not leave this place for the summer so I HAVE to get a job. On that front at least on Friday I have and interview with a client of a workagency, so that is good news, keep your fingers and toes crossed for me :)

Kl. hvað kemurðu á morgun?
Ég er nefninlega að fara vestur á firði beint eftir vinnu á fimmtudaginn...
svo kannski sé ég þig ekkert fyrr en á ... mánudaginn?
Ekki nema við getum hist annað kvöld (en skil nú ef það er ekki hægt)... eða í hádegismat á fimmtudaginn....
en annars höfum við nægan tíma í sumar...

Do you mind if I add you as a friend? I've just stumbled across your LJ by accident and couldn't believe my luck to see someone from Iceland living in Norway. I am a Scandinavian literature and language student and have just completed an Icelandic language course (okay, not really completed, I just did was mandatory. My main language in these studies is Norwegian though. That doesn't mean I can speak it though. I seriously need more practice.
Well, enough said before I bore you to death. Would be great if you added me.
